Summary of the Position: Lead marketing and communications initiatives for Association Services clients supported by PMMI, which currently includes The Association for Contract Packaging and Manufacturing (CPA); Cold Pressure Council (CPC); Organization for Machine Automation and Control (OMAC). This position will work cross functionally with PMMI Staff, outside Association Directors and Board of Directors for Association Services clients. Ability to work within a team and manage multiple priorities and project supervisors required. Occasional travel will be required for support of specific client events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing and Communications:
Primary Marcom contact for all Association Services clients – interface with clients to determine marketing needs and establish priorities.
In cooperation with clients, create and adjust marketing processes and procedures based on each individual client’s need.
Works cooperatively with outside association directors
Works cooperatively with designated IT support, both PMMI Staff and third-party providers
Manages Association Services relationship with PMMI’s internal Marketing department to identify opportunities for cross promotion and client audience expansion, as well as to identify internal resources for work delegation and support.
Create strategies, tactics, key messages, timelines and objectives for all client marketing projects and get approval of all plans from respective clients.
Once communication strategies/plans are created and approved by clients, this person is responsible for executing said strategies/plans (content creation), getting support from whatever internal (or external) resources they identify.
Manage clients’ membership communication creation, direct printing, and advertising initiatives.
Create and/or manage all content for e-newsletters, emails, press releases, social media posts and calendars, website, infographics, direct mail pieces.
Writing and reviewing content for accuracy, style, and grammar – setting up content review processes specific to the needs of each unique client.
Coordination/management of direct mail initiatives as required.
Coordinate with art department or dedicated designer on all projects that include design elements.
Manages all client Marcom projects both in scope and out of scope.

Workforce and Education
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Previous association support experience preferred.
Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment, managing multiple projects and priorities, and working cooperatively to satisfy internal and external requests.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Experience with the following software programs a plus:
Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
