Sr. Director, Marketing – Value Add Programs | Ameriprise Financial, Inc.
Boston, Massachusetts, Responsible for the marketing strategy, positioning and messaging of our Value Add program offering, in alignment with the Columbia Threadneedle Investments brand. Partner with Marketing colleagues to lead development, production, promotion, measurement and maintenance of engaging marketing content and initiatives. Leverage all relevant data and insights, marketing/digital channels and tools. Collaborate with partners across the North America Distribution teams as well as outside vendors to meet Home Office, Financial Advisor and client needs, to achieve our business objectives. Responsibilities ??? Understand and evolve the positioning and messaging for our Value Add offering. Ensure that all Value Add marketing activities are consistently aligned with the positioning and messaging. Act as brand advocate by having strong familiarity with look, feel, voice and overall brand presence of Columbia Threadneedle Investments. ??? Develop focused marketing strategy for our Value Add program and execute tactics leveraging all relevant marketing channels and tools. ??? Work with Channel, Segment and Agile marketing teams to facilitate an integrated customer journey for prospective Financial Advisors and those we have relationships with. ??? Partner with National Accounts and Sales training teams as well as SMEs to create relevant content and material to enable home office relationships and sales efforts, including content for CE on demand program. ??? Maintain Value Add marketing program through on-going monitoring and measuring and assessing effectiveness of marketing content and promotion, and updating / refreshing / eliminating as needed. ??? Keep current on understanding of FA and client needs and competitor offerings through research and gathering industry intelligence. ??? Track expenditures and monitor invoices related to individual projects. ??? Ensure compliance with SEC/FINRA and corporate guidelines and regulations in all communications. Required Qualifications ??? 7+ years of relevant marketing experience. ??? Understanding of and ability to lead/follow marketing processes. ??? Superior ability to prioritize and multi-task through numerous projects. ??? Ability to articulate strategy, influence adoption and align resources to achieve same. ??? Strong listening, written, verbal and communications skills. ??? Maintains a high energy level and attitude, is team-oriented and client focused. Preferred Qualifications ??? Bachelors degree or equivalent. ??? Experience in the asset management industry. ??? Experience with digital marketing.
